Due unexpected developments, the public discussion"One University - two libraries", planned on 21st April 2010, will take place at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Latvia on 28st April 2010at14.00.
On the 12th April 2010, the memorial exhibition of Juris Soikans (1920-1995),a painter, graphic artist, art historian and publicist, openes at the Academic Library of the University of Latvia, at Rupniecības iela 10.
On the 9th April 2010, the exhibition "Book publishing of Latvia in 2009" opened at the Academic Library of the University of Latvia, at Rupniecības iela 10. The exhibition is a joint project of the Library and the Association of the Latvian Book Publishers.
Since the 3rd March 2010 wireless internet is available at the Academic Library of the University of Latvia; for the time being it is available for the users of LUIS or the users with EDUROAM access.
